You can also see snippets of 12 yo Dil Agha’s recruitment interview, as well as a few images from the first distribution day. Some of our EAO children, Lida (7), Sana (6), Fardeen (7) and Dil Agha (12) can be seen above. The children and their trusted guardians received their stationary, books, uniforms, as well as the first payment of financial support from the volunteers on the ground.⁣

ACW sets up fruitful, long-term relationships with charities and work side by side in order to fundraise for the cause as well as ensure transparent and careful implementation of the funds for years to come! Afghan Charity Week this year is collaborating and Afghan Charity Week this year is collaborating and working alongside @enabledchildren to raise money for children with disabilities in Afghanistan. However as @im.dost so eloquently states, our work goes beyond that, ACW is also about awareness and combating discrimination. ACW is about creating a dialogue whereby we can discuss things like mental health and disabilities safely.

Money raised during ACW will fund Window of Hope, a sustainable care home for abandoned and orphaned children with disabilities. Donations will help provide in-home schooling, healthcare, recreational activities and more. ECI has a 100% donation policy meaning all proceeds fundraised during ACW will go to fund the needs of the children under ECI’s care.
@ali_haidaree will be taking part in the Goggins 4 @ali_haidaree will be taking part in the Goggins 4x4x48 Challenge to raise money for ACW’s collaborative project with @enabledchildren for their Window of Hope Care Home for abandoned, disabled and orphaned children.

Cambridge University Afghan Society have teamed up Cambridge University Afghan Society have teamed up with @withlovehuma to fundraise for @enabledchildren during @afghancharityweek.
